Book Description

A weekend in a cabin in the woods.
A marriage in crisis.
A mysterious disappearance.

What happened to Miranda Huff?

A couple in crisis decides to spend a weekend away at a cabin in the woods in Hidden Springs, but when Ryan Huff arrives to meet up with Miranda, the door is open, there are two glasses of wine on the table, nobody is there, and the bathroom is covered in blood.

Everything That Happened to Miranda Huff is a dizzying psychological thriller in which it seems impossible that Miranda will ever be found alive. What Ryan doesn’t know is that his wife’s disappearance connects their story with that of his mentor, the great James Black, and with the discovery of the body of a woman who disappeared 30 years ago in the same forest.

After the overwhelming success of El día que se perdió la cordura (The Day Sanity Was Lost) and El día que se perdió el amor (The Day Love Was Lost), with more than 300,000 copies sold, Javier Castillo, master of suspense, displays his storytelling skill by delving into the mysteries of everyday life, there where our most primal fears hide. An intense reading experience that will leave you breathless.

My Thoughts

Another great story by Javier Castillo.

I love how easy to read his books are, short chapters and fast-paced ones. I have found a new favorite author in Javier Castillo. His writing is simple in the sense that is to the point but he has the power to make you immerse in the story from page one.

His characters are well-developed, and always fascinated at how he sets the scene so well that you feel you are right there in the place with the character.

Overall, another great read and looking forward to more new books by Javier.
