My Thoughts

I read the first book in the Series, A Whole New World, which is a retelling of Aladdin and even though I did not like it I decided to read this the second book. The premise sounded really good, What if the sleeping beauty never woke up? It has that different factor a retelling story is supposed to have, which I did not see in the first book, unfortunately I did not see it in this book either. 

I had the same issues as with the first book, the writing and how the good premise was just that.  Again, at one point along the way I felt the story took a different direction and the whole story was not interesting anymore. Couldn't connect with the story. I kept waiting for that moment for the story to take off and see that something special the premise offers but sadly did not happen for me.
